A slower kind of weekend, a little closer to nature
No big itinerary. Just fresh air, a familiar trail, and time that feels like your own.

Make the plan smaller
A restorative weekend does not need to become another project. Choose one manageable outing: a walk beside water, a picnic in a nearby park, or a morning on a familiar trail. Leave enough time on either side that the journey does not feel rushed.
Pack for the place
Check local conditions and choose a route that suits your experience. Bring water, a layer for changing weather, and a way to navigate. For unfamiliar trails, look up access rules and daylight hours before setting out. A simple plan still benefits from thoughtful preparation.
Pay attention to something small
Notice the shape of a leaf, the movement of clouds, or how the sound changes when you step away from a road. You do not have to turn the outing into a performance. Sometimes the most valuable part is the time you spend without making anything to show for it.
